With an existing outer shell, the challenge of this project was to inhabit and incorporate the preconditions of the existing building.

As a large furniture in itself, the central "core" holds all the functions and programs in the appartment. The cladding of oak panels contrast the surrounding light exterior walls, creating and separating new spaces. A staircase of solid oak connects the sleeping area with the ground floor, and serves as a built in storage.
